Q&As and Interior Demo Photos

Hi everyone! Since the launch of my art store, people have been asking about specific questions related to what the paintings are made of, what certain sizes look like in real life, etc. I hope to address some of these questions in this post!

All the paintings for sale in my online art store are fine art reproductions of the original painting. That is why there are two art print options available to choose from and there are different sizes available. In the FAQ page, I’ve provided a brief explanation of the art print options–giclée and inkjet prints. Here is the information copied below:

What is giclée?

Giclée is the process of creating high-quality reproductions of paintings, photographs, and other two-dimensional art. Giclée prints are made of special archival ink on archival grade material to ensure fade-resistance over time.

Giclée vs. Inkjet prints–what’s the difference?

Giclée prints are usually preferred for fine art reproductions which uses higher quality materials than inkjet prints. Additionally, giclée prints boast better color accuracy, vividness, sharpness, and overall quality than inkjet prints.

All the original paintings were made with acrylic paint on canvas. While the original paintings are not included in the art store, please feel free to contact me via email to inquire about the specific artwork you are interested in. 💛💛 Also, if there is a custom size you would like to see that is not listed (i.e., 36″x36″), send me a message in my Contact page so I can help you out.

I am also going to be updating the content of the art store at the beginning of each month, so if you are waiting for a certain painting to be available: 1) sign up for my mailing list in the art store front page; and 2) send me a brief message in my Contact page to let me know what painting you are waiting for.

For any folks who would like me to commission a painting for them, I would be happy to hear from you in my Contact page as well! Or send me a message via other communication methods, if more appropriate. 😊 I’ve heard from some cool peeps and would love to keep the artistic flow going!

In regards to sizing and how the paintings look like in real life, below are some helpful photos, with more to come in the future.

Best of all, I am absolutely thrilled to be finally sharing my art with you all. Why did it take me so long to realize that this was so fulfilling? ❤️❤️

This week was amazing! Thank you for the love and warmth–the official launch of the D A N E S S A online art store was a success, and I am grateful for all the wonderful people who have supported me. This is just the beginning, so I guess the best is yet to come! 😀 I have enjoyed filling out orders as they came along and have also been happy to reconnect with some old pals who asked me to commission some ultra cool stuff for them (so stay tuned!). I am learning more and more about how this whole “marketing” thing works, so please bear with me as I fine-tune some things as we go forward.

Mental Illness: It’s Not Always What You Think–Art Exhibit

I’ve been very fortunate to have such amazing opportunities to showcase my recent works all month in Downtown and Midtown Sacramento. Thank you to the Sacramento Edelman Group and the Sacramento County Division of Behavioral Health Services! I’m glad to do my part in the fight against mental health stigma and promoting awareness and compassion for all. ❤

See below for some photos that I took at the California State Capitol!

I hope that there will be more art updates for you all soon! I’m working hard to update my website with some exciting new material. 😉 In the meantime, here’s a little something for you all to snack on this Monday from the Anxiety and Depression Association of America. Hope this week is off to a great start for you!
